The team at David R. Price, Jr., P.A. is pleased to announce the Teen Safe Driving Scholarship. Applicants are invited to write and submit an essay to answer the question: “What can we do to promote safe teen driving?” The scholarship committee will award one scholarship worth $2,000.
Who can enter?
- High school juniors and seniors
- Undergraduate students (two-year and four-year colleges and universities)
- Graduate students
How to Enter
- Write an essay of 600 words or less answering the question: “What can we do to promote safe teen driving?”
- Submit your essay by email to: scholarship@greenvillelegal.com
- Include your name, email, phone number and mailing address
- Write a brief bio introducing yourself to us in 2-3 sentences
- Tell us the name and address of your school and provide proof of school enrollment (transcript, other records showing enrollment)
- A photograph (we’ll only use it if you win)
- If you’re under 18, a signed letter from a parent or guardian allowing you to enter
If you win, we’ll contact you at the contact information you provide, so be sure your details are accurate.
Deadline to Enter
The deadline to enter is July 1st, 2022.
Award
The scholarship committee will award one scholarship worth $2,000.
Winners will be announced by August 1st, 2022 to coincide with the start of most new academic years.

About the Teen Safe Driving Scholarship
As personal injury attorneys, we meet many victims of unsafe driving. We get to know their families, and we see the way that dangerous driving changes lives.
As part of our mission to make our community a better place, we want to help make our roads safer. One of the groups most at risk on the roads is teen drivers. According to the National highway Traffic Safety Administration(NHTSA), teens are more likely to be in fatal crashes because of distracted driving than any other group. 34% of teens admit to using their phones behind the wheel.
It’s our hope that the Teen Safe Driving Scholarship gets us all thinking about teen driving safety and ways to improve it. The scholarship program gives students a forum to share their views on this important issue.

The scholarship winner will receive a check from David R. Price, Jr., P.A. made out to the school they will attend or are attending. The winner must use the funds for tuition or education-related expenses. Winners are responsible for any applicable federal, state or local taxes.
Applicants under 18 must have parent permission to enter. Employees of David R. Price, Jr., P.A. and their families are not eligible. Each person may submit one essay. By sending us a photo, you grant us permission to use it if you are a winner.
Your work must be original. Plagiarism will result in disqualification. Decisions of the scholarship committee are final.
