The law firm is proud to sponsor and support the event that raises funds for the CC Pearce Culinary School, HostMobile food truck, and the Bakery. The event takes place October 1-2, 2021, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Downtown Greenville, 111 Hampton Avenue.
The Project Host BBQ Cook-Off is an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate great food while raising funds to support programming. There’s no cost to enter the event, which features music and select entertainment. Tickets for food samples, beer and wine, face painting, and the bounce house are available for 10 for $10.
Cooks can compete for prizes, awards, and bragging rights by entering the cooking competition. Enter in a variety of categories like sides, sweets, or starters, or join the brisket throwdown, the ribs throwdown, or the main pork butt cookoff.

Project Host is a Greenville-area nonprofit that builds community through food. Operating since 1981, Project Host teaches culinary skills to the unemployed and the underemployed. In turn, they operate the HostMobile food truck and the Bakery, using food as a tool to nourish the hungry and train the unemployed.
Project Host believes that food is the main ingredient to helping people thrive and live healthy in their communities. They train individuals for employment and pay it forward through social enterprises like the HostMobile food truck and the Bakery. The Project Host BBQ Cook-Off raises funds for programming.
